Inês Tomé has been awarded with a Fulbright Scholarship to develop part of her research in the United States of America.

These scholarships are promoted by the Fulbright Portugal Foundation, with the support of the Foundation for Science and Technology.

As a visiting student researcher in the U.S., Inês will have the collaboration of Dr. Diana Jurk from Mayo Clinic (Minnesota, USA), an expert in cell senescence and accelerated aging models. Inês will have the opportunity to work with prestigious researchers in the field of aging, as well as to have access to exclusive tools and models of brain aging.
