Congratulations to Ana Luísa Carvalho and Lino Ferreira
Two projects, DYNABrain e RESETageing, led by Ana Luísa Carvalho and Lino Ferreira, respectively, were awarded with more than 3 million euros by the european programme Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation promoted by Horizon 2020.
The main objective of the RESETaging project, financed in the twinning category, is to promote the scientific and invovation skills of the University of Coimbra in the area of cardiovascular aging. This project involves three international partners with high knowledge in the area of aging: University of Newcastle (UK), University of Maastricht (Netherlands) and the Leibniz Institute on Aging – Fritz Lipman Institute (Germany).
The DYNABrain project, an EraChair project, aims to recruit a research group in the field of Systems and computatiuonal neurosciences applied to the study of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. Other goal is the creation of a doctoral program in Integrative Neurosciences. The project is coordinated by Dr. Ana Luísa Carvalho, principal investigator in CNC.
