The 33rd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials took place between 4th and 8th of September in Davos, Switzerland.

Several researchers from our group participated in the event with oral (Lino Ferreira, Vitor Francisco, Miguel Lino, Francesca Tomatis, Inês Tomé and Luís Monteiro) and poster presentations (Cláudia Deus, Susana Simões, Akhilesh Rai and Arnab Banerjee).

Lino Ferreira organized one symposium dedicated to “Drug delivery for tissue regeneration and ageing” and Miguel Lino and Arnab Banerjee organized one symposium focused on “Extracellular vesicle bioengineering”.

Congratulations to the PhD student Francesca Tomatis, who won the best student oral award!
